Pediatric Dental Emergencies - Toothache Pain
Toothache refers to a pain around the teeth and jaws. Dental problems such as dental cavity, a cracked or fractured tooth, gum disease, etc are the root cause of toothaches. The severe pain in the teeth can range from chronic and mild to intense pain. We generally recommend our patients to avoid consuming too hot or too cold liquids or other food as it can increase the pain.
Our professionals conduct a thorough oral examination, testing, x-rays, etc so as to determine the main cause of the problem. The presence of a cavity or an abscess can also result into a toothache.
Mild toothaches can be relieved by simply rinsing so as to clear the mouth and remove the matter.
